Three Rangers players have been called up for Scotland’s World Cup campaign.
Steve Clarke has picked his 26-man squad for this summer’s finals and this was announced this morning, with a trio of Ibrox stars confirmed to be heading to North America.
Liam Kelly is one of three goalkeepers selected, along with Hearts’ Craig Gordon and Angus Gunn of Nottingham Forest.
John Souttar is part of the defensive corps and will look to stake a claim for a start, while winger Findlay Curtis is also in.
Curtis’ impressive form on loan at Kilmarnock earned him a call-up for the March friendlies and he won his first cap against Japan. He’s kept his place as a wing option for the finals.
Former Rangers duo Billy Gilmour and Nathan Patterson are also named in the squad.
Scotland will play a friendly against Curacao on May 30, and Bolivia on June 6, before their first World Cup match against Haiti on June 14.
